Nice addition to the drum kit for the more serious drummers. I've been drumming for a long time so it was fairly easy to get going but I can imagine it being very difficult otherwise. Anyway pretty well made, although would be nice if it was metal. But it does the job!

Quite simply a copy of the standard hard wearing Guitar Hero Kick pedal, released for the metalica version of the game initially, but for Guitar Hero 5 some songs also require a 2nd kick pedal which are awesome to play. This includes a required jack splitter to allow a 2nd kick pedal to be connected (no, don't use the black hole right above the purple hole at the back).
It is preffered by many players to get rock hard wearing kick pedals, as these are known to deteriorate from intense players, but custom reinforcements can be easily added (my favorite a small sheet of plastic on the sensor to stop wearing). I use this along my initial pedal and they work perfectly, you can buy a custom pedal and a splitter yourself seprately, but as for both cost and hasstle, I choose this option and don't regret it.

Adding the second (double) pedal really expands the Guitar Hero World Tour / Band Hero kit and extends the simplistic drumming offered with the single pedal!

I bought the drums (plus extra bass pedal) at the start of the summer and very rapidly managed to improve at this to the point of being able to play drums for broken, beaten, scarred on expert plus and complete song with 85% notes hit. The double bass pedal is essential and brilliant fun once you get up to speed with it.
